The prosecutor had the nerve to tell the Navy panel to convict Keefe in order to show “we are better than the terrorists.”So far, two SEALs have been exonerated. In my view, this still doesn't let their superiors off the hook for letting this absurd trial get started in the first place. But, in the end, trying senior Admirals for political correctness is not the way to solve that problem.
Umm, I’m thinking you should save that argument for when Navy SEALs ambush Iraqi citizens, drag them through the streets, hang their bodies from a bridge, and then do a happy dance.
